Volunteers at Lewis Over the Summer..

Today our playground basketball rims received some new nets thanks to the work of Lewis parent Kathleen Witter. Over the weekend volunteers worked to remove weeds and overgrown grass from the playground and the perimeter fence around our playground and along 45th avenue. The school grounds look great and this is a direct result of the work of our community and parent volunteers. Over the summer teams of parents have been working to keep our garden and new trees watered. Because of their work, our school looks great and because of their work our school is more welcoming and inviting. I greatly appreciate the work and support of our parent and community volunteers and thank them for their continued support. Tim Lauer
